Honestly was apprehensive at first when I realized it was a side story almost but it is cool to have avail back in the loop. Also cool to learn more about the southern continent and see how the magic injury is going to affect Chaol.

I don’t know … pretty overwhelmed with all the new characters and a bit bored. Wish I had known about the tandem read because I just want to get to Kingdom of Ash and see what happens with Aelin and the others. Still cool to see the Southern Continent and how Chaol is healing. Yrene’s character development is cool too.

Pleasantly surprised at how intriguing the story line is. Wasn’t initially that interested in the side story but cool to see how many more part to the Erawan lore there is. Also cool to learn about the people of the Southwrn continent as they have been mentioned throughout the series but we are finally seeing and experiencing their way of life.
