Nope. The narrator is not very good - flat and a bit monotone. It might be a good story but I can't get past the voice.

The first 30 pages contain so much teen-aged angst that it oozes from the pages. I hope they get on with the story.

This is 3 books in one and I've now finished book 2. Very enjoyable and I'm glad I have book 3 ready and waiting.

I'm totally frustrated by the number of omitted words. Words like "in" or "of" ot the like. Some proof reading would vastly improve the experience. Every dropped word stops me in my tracks. Will I continue? Not sure. I loved the first 2 and didn't have this problem.

The story is good enough for me to continue reading but the "He's so gorgeous that I can't resist him" She's so beautiful that..." Blah blah blah. I'm so sick of it and it's so phony. Lust be as it is.
Please just tell the story or allude to the attraction if you must.
I just had to vent!!!!

Finished book three and as usual Ms. Buroker hits the bulls eye. You don't have to puzzle out all the alien technology, just roll with it and you have a fun story.

First of three novels - magnificent - and the beginnings of Valdemar.

If the story weren't so good I'd give it up. The lack of editing gets worse and worse and more and more distracting. Shame on you!
