Harper is STRESSING me out!!!!!

These freaking books give me heart palpitations.

Holy crap... the author just dove right in, headfirst, in this one, didn't she?

This book has gotten good. And Jess has redeemed herself for me. At least for now.

This book is stressing me out and I hate Jess for keeping things from him when he has told her everything. Even given her things to use against him and the people he works for.

Both of these audiobook narrators are TERRIBLE. They do not understand inflection and when to use it. Her voice for men is TERRIBLE. His voice for women is a little less terrible. They both are just not good readers.

Him: Currently in love with him.
Her: Currently hate her because I think she is a total idiot.

Well, that first chapter scene was certainly a choice.

I HATE the nickname Firefly. It’s lame and stupid and sooooo unsexy.

Why are the women in every single one of these books so freaking judgmental, but GOD FORBID a male character ever have an opinion?!.

My lord. The chemistry in just the Prologue... *flames* HOT!

Man, this book is a punch to the heart in places.

This may have been the wrong book to listen to at work. Barely holding back tears right now.

14% into the book and my heart hurts. My best friend is the closest person to me in my life, other than my siblings. I can't imagine her calling me and telling me she has terminal cancer and they've given her two weeks. I think I would emotionally die right then.

Ok, I lied. The longer I listen to the male narration, the more is grows on me. Especially when he speaks the Italian words. *drool*

Word to the wise: If you are going to split between reading and listening to the audiobook (like I do for work), the male narrator is not great. His voice does not at all match how it is described in the book and is too high pitched to be believable as anyone with power. Not to mention - when he has to do the FMC counters, it is REALLY bad.

God these girls are so weak. They want to think they are strong and act like they can take care of themselves, but they really are just weak. STAND UP FOR YOURSELF!!!!

Definitely going better than the last book, but still super immature writing. I understand these characters are in high school, but the author writes like they are, as well.

50% audiobook (for work) and 50% kindle... the narrators: chef's kiss. Christian Fox is my kind of male voice. Casual, deep, not overly excitable.

I. Love. Him.

I know that her mom died and her dad is lonely, but it's been 10 years and she needs to set some freaking boundaries. He dad is the kind of dad who would unintentionally ruin her life because he is an idiot and is turning to his daughter to comfort him.

This book has me emotionally stressed.

This girl... she is funny, but she is so sarcastic it's starting to get annoying. It comes off as stupid and immature.

This book is pretty hilarious so far.

I'm swooning at this point.
