This book would be a nice little thriller movie. It keeps you entertained. Unlike so many crime drama books, this one doesn't inundate you with too much useless information and description.

This is my kind of crime drama. It reads like watching a tv show.

I need a break from the Romance genre. The FMCs that are constantly being written as stupid and insecure are killing me. At the moment, The Last Move is giving me what I need: good writing, sarcasm and witty commentary, and (so far), a confident and intelligent FMC.

Meredith has turned into her mother: cold and heartless to anyone who isn't her children. But Nina... Nina is worse. She is a childish and selfish person.

I actually can't stand Fallon. And Jaz... she's a trash human being and would be enough of a reason for me to not ever be with Fallon if I was a man. Not worth it.

I have to say: the Prologue is a real hook! I love Meghan Quinn's writing style and her wittiness, so I am pretty excited for this one.

I need a little break. My emotions are too tied up in the plot of this one at the moment.

I’m stressed. I am fighting myself to not google what Noah’s secret is. Very good hook from the onset.

This book is so messed up. I'm going to finish it, but this is beyond dark romance. It's not even really enjoyable.

All I can say is: Briggs is a prick and needs serious psychological help.

So much has happened in 5% of the pages, but I am still so confused and stressed.

I am stressed. This book has so much going on, but it a good way. But I still have no idea who the "man with the jewels" is.

Ok... Noelle has redeemed herself.

Chapter 26: Noelle better have a really good rise from her decision to keep the child she has (Evan's btw) from him, because right now, I don't care that she was a victim or trying to heal. That is the most selfish decision someone could ever make when the father is a good person. How dare she just disappear and not tell him. That kind of decision... my thoughts of her are very low at the moment.

Starting part two: 8 years later. My heart is broken for these two.
