I didn't realize there was a doctrine of Transposition but I think it's pretty hype

Haven't had a lot of time/mental space to read but I'm chipping away! I wish we had more books where little boys were called up to be men.

Quickly realized it was a collection of works. Still love the weight of glory of all of them.

okay fine the suspended disbelief has to be...well very suspended...and the characters are lacking in depth...it's now on 1.3x speed...

Augustine's doctrine of creation is so fascinating. Love how he approaches topics. He lost me for a bit with the whole discussion of time 😵 but we're so back. Finishing strong ✊

Okay this book is definitely for sci-fi nerds...apparently that's me. This is gonna be one of those books that will cause me to have to remind myself to eat and sleep. I've been sucked in and there's no going back.

Oh my gosh I'm laughing so hard! I can confidently say I've never laughed so hard at a book. Soooo good. Locked in. I'm always scared of starting new fiction books but this one is NOT disappointing. Brilliant so far! LOVE the writing style😆

okay I now have the language to express why some theology bros seem to get it and some feel like they've got the "facts" straight but just are missing something..."men (or women) without chests". Fascinating so far. I won't begin to pretend to understand it all lol 🫣 CS Lewis just doesn't miss tho...so fire.

knowing the difference between sinful fear and right fear is blowing my mind. God is so kind in His teaching and correcting us.

The root of our anxieties is a lack of a true and healthy fear of God. Anxiety is ultimately tied to unbelief.

A belief becomes a belief when everything depends on it...it's easy to say a rope is strong until you have to hang by it over a cliff.
