Realizing how easily I'm swayed by rhetoric and emotion. Logic is so just not appealing to me haha but I'm learning a lot and it's proving necessary in discerning truth. Great encouragement so far! If it wasn't for the narrative aspect I think I'd be lost and bored. Guys don't worry I'm growing. Lol

The biography of Keith Green is a hard one to follow but this one has 100% kept up. I really appreciate the way he talks about his childhood and previous beliefs with honor and genuineness. I've learned SO MUCH. Also his highschool best friend who he theologically battles it out with reminds me of another person I know and love 😉 Honestly just bummed I'm going so fast through this one 🤭

I'm so glad I've been patient with this book. The journey of sanctification is real! So encouraging to see God working in Keith's life and continuing to lovingly correct and guide him. Makes me encouraged that God is and will continue to do that in my own life.

Book 3 has me a bit confuzzled but I mean can we really truly grasp heaven while still on earth? Probably not. But we can try!

Hmm interesting. Fascinating to hear the backside of people who have been involved in revival. Not gonna lie it's makin' me a bit uncomfy but it's very interesting.

Refreshing! They're zeal for the Lord and desire to see people come to Jesus (tho, as they admit sometimes a bit in need of refinement) is so genuine and inspiring! Love to hear how their faith and theology develop as they learn and grow more even after they become believers. I'm just loving the ability to see all parts of the process. Wish I could sit down with every believer I know and hear their story like this!

Ahhhhh guys I'm obsessed! Nothing has ignited my imagined quite as vividly! Wish I could stay up and read more but alas I'm an adult who has to work in the morning...

Uuuugh I love this. So intriguing the way they both are processing God and their faith! I love how Melody really captures the slow and tedious process. Also love to see the people God put in Keith's life to help steer him towards truth. The late night arguments with his friend about Keith not accepting all of the Bible and the deity of Jesus are so awesome haha love it. I love to observe the wrestling 🔥

It genuinely blows my mind and reminds me of how life changing and wonderful God is that someone can go through so many strange and different experiences than me...grow up in a drastically different world and come to the same conclusions about God and the universe through only two shared things: a mind/heart that desperately seeks God and God's precious Word.

Be personally experiencing and reminding yourself of the gospel and living in His Word. People seek the Lord and find him where believers are present because God exists within us when we are indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
