As dissapointing as it is, this is kind of developing into a hate read.

This is a nice switch to reading A Game of Thrones, something that doesn't have me writing down new names every few minutes lol

God do I have much to say, but I dont know how to put it. I'll start with that im now kind of mourning what the show could have been, I like the show very much, but it doesn't compare to the book imo. I absolutely love how the details and descriptions of landscapes/characters aren't overwhelming. I enjoy reading this book even when im tierd, because the writing is detailed but still easily digestible.

Its so good but im also lowkey grossed out lol

Im kind of torn between DNFing or powering through the rest. The book is fine, it has cute/ interesting moments, but for me it just feels like its going nowhere. There is not really character development, or relationship building, and the "main objective" feels like its just not moving anywhere. I still dont know if I just overread why exactly Fu Wanqing wants revenge, or if it never got told.

Waiting in the emergency department of the hospital gives the perfect opportunity to read LOL, honestly idk how to express my feelings about this book, besides that I love it.

I'm so exited for the holidays, I want more time to read.

Im not sure how far I really am, since im trying this as audiobook. So far its definitely a "page turner" even if im listening to it.

Im not far into the book yet so I cant say much, just that im absolutely exited that we finally got a Baihe translation! :)

God im so confused, I have so many questions and I need answers. I read this book so much slower than my normal reading speed, just because its so interesting so im automatically reading slower lol

I'm planning to still finish it today before I start The Beauty's Blade, also super invested in the story. There are so many twists here and there, and I left off on such an interesting part!

I have so many questions and theories, but they all dont make fully sense. I'm excited to continue reading.

Im realized how easy I am to freak out, genuinely dont wanna read it in the dark but its too good to put down.

First Novel that im reading in German after a while, im already super invested but cant say much yet.
