Something's bothering me and keeping me from devouring this book.

I feel like I need to reread the books I've read and loved from the same author to compare what changed.

I need something big to happen soon—an explosion, somebody almost dying, etc— because I am barely hanging on.

omg this book

The audacity of a man to come back after running away for five years and now act like he still has a right to everything he left behind. I really want Hazel to make him hurt. Let him see how she's moved on and REGRET IT BAD.

Also, I'm not convinced that there's no other choice but to accept the arrangement.

Nothing bad about it, but a group of guys ruling the academy is so cliché and ridiculous, it makes me giggle every time 😂

This book's got me smiling bc

I've seen people say that they don't hate kids in romances, what they hate is when the author uses "kid/baby talk", and now I know the feeling. My kid is 2, and she has never said "wuv" instead of "love".

“So what happened? You changed your mind and now you want the bullshit?”

Rogan’s phone chimed. “Yes, I want your bullshit.”

Who doesn't love a meet cute where the MMC (aka Mad Rogan/the Butcher of Merida/Huracan) chases the FMC at an arboretum and kidnaps her? 😂

gah i hate how Augustine forces the case to Nevada, not caring about the danger. i want to strangle him!

reading this reminds me how much i want to be a part of Nevada's family
