We’ve been getting back to the storyline I care the most about, ALSO I got the physical copy at the library and have been rereading parts, so I’m stagnating (?) but not really, cause I have been reading…? Just not progressing…?
This book’s writing is so insanely clever (!!), witty and interesting, I just can’t really get on board with the length and vastness of characters and plotlines

Am I gonna have to deal with yet another one of Ali’s mfcs considering being on the ace spectrum to then be “cured” by her mmcs magic dick?
Like, yes, sex for women is shit most of the time and that’s a structural patriarchy problem, but STOP (semi-)falsely pulling asexuality into the equation goddamn it!
Her (re)created narrative is more than a little harmful to the ace-community and they deserve better!

I hate the feeling of not being able to choose my next read freely but only with limited resources. Maybe I’ll have an absolute blast with some of my paperbacks though!!

honestly, this books concept is confusing and questionable to me
but I’m very understanding about it cause yk.. it’s like *really* old

To me this was kinda lacking though
The good stuff wasn’t enough and mediocre stuff I didn’t really like or care about was too much

The writing is impeccable frrrrr
