Some chapters were a bit hard to read but I did understood it and still cried
I loved it, the story and the reality of this book
It was about childhood trauma, family dysfunction, beauty standards(more of the white beauty ideal) and also of selfworth

I can't say this is my favorite book of the series because I can't devide BUT this one did make me cry like keeping 13
It felt like a repetitive bang in the head

I love how every little detail counts but honestly how can such a gut-wrenching book have so many funny conversations

I'm not really liking the book😶
I actually relate to Samantha but the WAY she explains it and the actual plot is just... no
But people say it gets better and that there's a plot twist
so I guess I'm going to read more of it

I love Aoife’s character development and obviously Joey’s too but it’s different

The beginning was more about their kind of toxic relationship but then

Honestly I can’t talk about this book anymore

I can’t even start on how this book DESTROYED me
This series is going to end me, I’ve had a reading slump for 4 months since I read the book
I was so invested in the book that I forgot to update it

I actually finished it
And I forgot to highlight quotes BUT it’s on my favorite books list

This book was like a warm hug and it actually relaxed me unlike other books AND the author is a genius, most of the time he talked about parenthood but also other things I loved
The ending made me cry😀
I feel bad that I don’t’ remember anything else but I loved the plot and ESPECIALLY the characters, maybe more Zara

Now this was a shitty book
It was also really smutty🤨
I didn't even read it i just went to the ending to see how the book finishes
But I will read the second one because people say its good and it has new characters

This book was actually a little dull
It was cute and all but it was really simple and it doesn't give EMOTIONS
But I actually new it wasnt going to be a really good book because it was GLOBAL best seller and a lot of people would read this because its not to intense

I liked the book a lot but I have to admit that nothing will be better than powerless 😔
It was more focused about Kai's and Paedyn's relationship and it was all a bit the same

Kitt askes her to be her bride?! Dfuq I thought he was depressed

I AM NOT liking this book
I don't know if I should keep reading it
Some moments are just too cringy, I literally can't keep reading it
Probably will because I already bought it
I just don't like how the author writes and the characters, I don't even like the story
People say another one of her books is good but I don't know...
My mission is to finish this book without dying of boredom 🙂‍↕️

WHAT WAS THAT
It was a cute book but at the same time it said some DEEP things that I really relate to
Connell is literally ME but I understand Marianne, also love the name
Love how they grow together
Well, it was a good read

Ok, this is all happening a little bit too fast
So many things happened in 60 pages, I have no idea if I processed this correctly
Anyway, I dont really like Connell and his friends are jerks, fucking Rachel
And this author GETS ME
She literally says what I feel PERFECTLY

I just started the book and I have too many questions😧 Also, they make a lot of jokes THAT I DONT GET
Like they compare an object to a celebrity that I don't know of
Or like difficult names, maybe I don't know a lot about other cultures
People say this book is depressing and it's SO. SAD. And I can already feel it, AAAAAA I'm scared

I can't believe I finished it

Loved this book 10/10 forever

Pt 5
Well, Shannon and her brothers finally have a normal life, she goes camping and to a music festival and the beach and she actually eats better and doesn't stress puke
Johnny gets a conract of 2 years to go to Dublin and play rugby, but he gets an extra year to be with Shannon and live more teenage life
Everyone has their own problems but it ends happy

Pt 6
After half an hour, the father lit up a fire in the house and he dies with the mom
Johnny's parents decide to foster all of them and they go to the funeral, they want Joey in rehab and to everyone go to the Tommen school
Bella, Johnny's ex that bullied Shannon because she was jealous, gets beaten up by Aoife and expelled WOOO

Pt 5
THATS BECAUSE her dad is a coward and went to a rehab to "get better", he will just come back and hit them again
So now all the family hate their mom, because she never did anything to help them
Shannon tries to see Johnny when she can even if Darren and her mom get very strict
The dad comes back
When Johnny gets better he takes Shannon and her brothers to his house

Pt 4
And the biggest brother Joey tries to hit him but only gets hurt, in the end Aoife and Joey take Shannon to the hospital THAT SCENE WAS SO SAD
Obviously Johnny ends up knowing what happened (well actually all her friends)
After her big brother Darren who she didn't see for five years comes back to help them. But the police can't find his dad

Pt 3
Somehow they end up in the seats next to eachother and in that time they alredy like eachother
Johnny gets hurt in the match (he alredy was injured) and ends up in the hospital
Shannon goes to visit him and THEY END UP KISSING but the coach catches them and he tells Shannon's parents about it
So when Shannon comes back home his father hits her so much that it almost kills her, Ollie, Tagh, and Sean see that

Pt 2 of the recap
Since they're now friends she sometimes goes to his car and she even went to his house
But Johnny stars to realize something is off, that she always has bruises
He only finds out that she was bullied so he goes and hits one of the guys that used to bully her
Before Easter Shannon escapes from home kind of to see Johnny's match in Dublin (they live in cork)

I want to do a quick recap
Shannon is abused by her father and bullied at school, and her brother Joey is an addict
She goes to Tommen where she alredy knows Claire and Lizzie
She passes by the rugby field where Johnny accidentally hits her with the ball so they go together to call her mom, and that's where they met even if Shannon was almost unconscious
They kind of become friends

Even if I finished this book I have more things to say
I feel bad for Lizzie
I am literally a mix of Shannon, Gibsie and Johnny and I WISH that I was Claire
AAAAA I NEED to read Joey and Aoife's book
I love the little funny scenes
And Gibisie's humor
And everything
I actually have so many things to say but I don't want to cry right now so I guess all of my thoughts will just remain in my head

How the fuck did Chloe Walsh do that book
I am in shock I've been looking at the ceiling for almost 3 hours I'm not joking
I swear I don't have a favorite character
I love ALL OF THEM
I literally love them and they're not even real
I have to admit I liked keeping 13 a little more but I love how it's kind of a happy ending and everything worked out

Well actually I hate the mom too, she has suffered a lot but know that you have a chance DONT WASTE IT and wine. Don't like her

I love EVERYTHING about this book
The characters, Ireland, that every person has their own backstory
WHY wasn't I born there?😭 Really starting to think I should live there
Gibsie sure has his things, but he is so funny
I won't really understand Lizzie until I read her backstory

I am numb
I didn't cry a lot it's more like a heavy feeling in the chest😭
Patroclus PHILTATOS meaning most beloved😭😭😭
Briseis did not deserve that
And when you realize the book is Patroclus telling all his memories with Achilles to Thetis🫢
And when their ashes get mixed together and they meet again
I CAN'T😭 I really felt it
