A Study in Scarlet will be hard to beat, I can already tell. Unbelievable that half of the first Sherlock Holmes story takes place in Salt Lake City 😭😭😭 Doyle's representation of Mormons was fascinating. I absolutely loved every page of this novel. What a strong start!

I just bought this on a whim, but I'm actually blown away by how good the writing is... Goodman understands Gaga's artistry in a really complex and insightful way, which is sooooo satisfying to have articulated so well. Especially in 2010!!!
