Like most Sandra Brown novels this has a great mix of intrigue and sexy times. It’s also quite humorous, and I really enjoy the way she writes. It’s easy it flows well and it doesn’t strain your brain.

This book is wild. There are so many educational footnotes about vintage fashion, art, decor, and periods, and why people say that things they say that it’s held me fascinated. The dram is very good too. I recommend it I am on the tippy toes being done….And I don’t want it to end

I haven’t read Crazy Rich Asians, so I didn’t really have any idea what this book was going to be like. But so far I’m fascinated.
There are so many footnotes that I’m getting an actual education while reading. Also, the amount of vintage glamour and breeding in schooling that is described in the book leaves my head a little Spinny. But it’s well written and it’s lovely so far.

I’m excited to see how this book plays out. I’ve heard a lot about this author. So stay tuned for updates.

Seven pages in, and I cannot figure out whether this book is scathingly sarcastic, or written by a teenager. Perhaps both.
