Great stuff. Killing Hekla was awesome, and Katie has cool powers that I’m excited for us to utilize more of. I rly like how the Iron Tangle is wrapping up and I’m excited for the conclusion! Also when’d Mordecai coming back, I miss that guy. God I love this series though!

This Iron Tangle is def complicated as shit. I did rly enjoy getting Frank’s backstory, but I’m also excited to have to deal with Maggie My at some point. This is good drama, also the coupons with donut is rly interesting. And I’m excited to meet Hekla eventually. A lot of stuff to look forward to!

I am very invested at this point in the story. I’m loving the level progression and upgrades, as well as the Iron Tangle. It’s so interesting, I also rly love how Carl utilizes his abilities in such unique ways. The book is just so damn entertaining, I love it so much. The fights are fun, the train stuff is fun, the dialogue is great. Idk what else to say, it’s just overall such a great time.

Good portion, the climbing challenge was fun and I rly like how the relationships are developing between Dorian and Chaol

The competition’s finally started, which is fun. Real Katniss vibe going on, also getting to know Nox is cool, I’m looking forward to more

Book’s kicking up. This like dungeon guide monster manual type book is super cool, I’m really excited for what this mean’s and Carl’s role. I like the whole rpg video game vibe, but I like when we get serious. Also learning more about Carl and Mordecai’s past is always fun. Good book so far, I’m really liking it, as per usual with DCC.

Still interesting so far. I like the evolving relationships. Definitely a lot of setup, like Sydney said, but I’m enjoying it. I’m excited for the competition to properly start.

20 pages in, strong start. I’m excited to learn more about the 3 characters. Dorian def the most interesting.

I liked this section a lot. The train tracks are rly fun, and I enjoy the room and the training stuff. Pretty enjoyable, I always like when Carl gets serious too. Good shit.

I will say this last bit was interesting. Idk, I have to be in the right mood to want to read some of the heavy handed philosophy, but I think it’s still good. Not as good as Poppy War though, but I do want to keep reading it.

I’m enjoying this so far, the train system sounds rly cool honestly, I love train fights. And the new safe room personal space is rly fun too. But I’m most excited for the train shit, seems interesting.

Still entertaining, I’m getting a little bored with this plot line but the elves and dwarves were funny. And I’m looking forward to the boss fight. But overall idk this part’s felt a lil bit like filler. Not as entertaining.

New weapon alert! It sounds like Carl actually has a viable ranged weapon, which should be a shit ton of fun. I was having trouble imagining it late at night but it sounds awesome. I’m looking forward to him demolishing shit with it.

Still pretty fucking good. Cute bonding moment with Dylan and Byron. I also love how good the art is, but also like kind of rough and not quite complete. It’s unique. I also totally forgot his mom was the one that killed his dad, the reveal was a beautiful full page though, she looked great. I shall be finishing this volume soon 🫡

Still enjoying it. It slowed down a decent bit after the circus, but that makes sense narratively and pacing wise since the circus was a lot. Learning more about Mordecai is really cool too. I’m looking forward to the next floor as well when Carl can actually use all of his tables and craft shit.

Pretty good issue, Lincoln’s monologue was sick and I loved the fight. I also like the mystery behind whether Lincoln is actually his brother or not.

Pretty good so far. Not as good as the first volume, but enjoyable. I didn’t remember that Lincoln March was his brother, I feel like I knew that but forgo. Pretty sick twist. I knew he was the bad guy but not that.

Genuinely phenomenal. I fucking love the circus and learning more about Carl. Him and Donut’s relationship is peak. Prbly my favorite part of the series so far. Also I’m so hype for Mongo to become a fucking tank!

Rereading for volume 3 but I still love it. I love joining a world midway through. Great art, great story. Unique relationships, like with how his mom knows immediately that he’s a superhero. I don’t really remember what happens so I’m excited to reread it since I liked it so much the first time.

Great again. The class and race choices were fun and made sense. Hopefully Mordecai locks in. I’m excited for the different quests, and I love the circus one already. I also love to continue to learn more things, like about Carl’s backstory. The overall story is very gradual as you learn and I enjoy how slow it goes honestly. There’s a lot going on but you’re also steadily learning as you read. Sick shit.

Genuinely amazing. Fascinating story, but what really gets me is the art. It is so colorful and emotional and vibrant and shifting. Absolutely beautiful. And learning about the story steadily as we go is phenomenal. The metaphor of the superpowers being Atomics and nuclear bombs themselves is so cool.

Still very enjoyable, the logic theme is really fun and interesting. I want more magic thoooooo. Ik that that’s not rly how it works but I still just kinda want more magic. But I’m excited to see where this goes still.

Really cool introduction. Magic working through logic is fascinating. I wish we had Peter’s pov as well but that’s okay, I’m excited to learn about the relationship between the two main characters and see how Hell develops. I’m also excited to see more of the magic.

Staying consistent throughout. The rage elemental fight was rly cool, and I like how even Frank and Maggie are bad guys but still victims of this system. Like genuinely everyone is a victim of the system, no matter what. It’s so cool.

Still progressing well, I love the different monsters and fights. I also like how much it’s setting things up, like the monsters having goals for going to the this floor and things like that. The book is incredibly entertaining as an intro itself, but it’s also doing such a great job at setting a foundation for the rest of the series to build upon.

Good shit, good shit. Great conflict, still great humor. I like the little hints at the deeper story elements as we go on, like the bosses being human and whenever we talk to Mordecai. Donut’s entertaining, and I’m looking forward to seeing what’s on the second floor. Good fricking book so far!

Honestly amazing so far. I knew I was gonna like it but I didn’t realize how ME it was going to be. The humor, the leveling up, the loot boxes, the story seems very interesting as well. The fighting is uniquely written as well and never boring, and there was quite a bit of exposition but it was done in an entertaining way. Overall I’m really enjoying it and looking forward to where the story will go.
