I’m finishing it out of curiosity. I really, really hope the actual villain aint Jeremy. Cuz if is, then this is SOO predictable. Jeremy, the only man, is the big bad, he wrote the manuscript from Verity’s POV but it was actually his and hes batshit crazy.

Also mc is like dumb. Idk why sge stays quiet so much.

Just reached Aelin rescue. HOLY SHIT. i was sweating. That was insanely written, be buildup and tension was FELT. i wanted to cry after the blood oath and i could feel the raw emotion that transpired through that scene.

Interesting yet captivating concept so far. Not sure if its because i just finished fourth wing book 3 a day prior, but the narration from a 3rd person POV is… ominous? Not monotone but also feels like it lacks a certain something, but it adds to the tone of the story so I guess its a good thing?
