A cery slow middle but things are speeding up and I’m reminded of why I loved the first book so much. Such an epic and despair filled tale of war.

I’m finishing it out of curiosity. I really, really hope the actual villain aint Jeremy. Cuz if is, then this is SOO predictable. Jeremy, the only man, is the big bad, he wrote the manuscript from Verity’s POV but it was actually his and hes batshit crazy.

Also mc is like dumb. Idk why sge stays quiet so much.

Just reached Aelin rescue. HOLY SHIT. i was sweating. That was insanely written, be buildup and tension was FELT. i wanted to cry after the blood oath and i could feel the raw emotion that transpired through that scene.
