I'm having some extreme difficulty. The book is set in Myrtle Beach. The grandmother lives "a few miles inland" in a mountain cabin where at Christmas there's enough snow for snowmobile riding. No. There is no such place within a short drive of Myrtle Beach. And now the grandmother sees a moose near her house. Moose aren't found within 10-14 hours of SC. It may seem nitpicky but the geography issues are killing me!

Just to be clear... Y'all is another way of saying you all. It refers to 2 or more people. When speaking to ONE person, we southerners use the term "you" just like everyone else. But here, Russell uses it in EVERY conversation in the place of you and that's so annoying!!!!!!!

Ok... Total incorrect use of y'all. Hopeful I won't be annoyed by Russell's exaggerated southern persona the who way!

It's like her objection to them being together switches every other page. 1 second she's upset he's a player, the next it's that she needs her own life. Pick 1 and settle.

I'm so confused?!?!? Why would they keep an abusive crew member around? These guys are adults, not 12 year old pop stars being run by their parents. Wth?

Ok, how does a band mate hide a black eye from his band mates while on tour and apparently it's taken 2 months to heal?

I'm so confused! It feels like I've skimmed and missed stuff. One second it's one way between them and the next it's the opposite. And what kind of band are they that all their shows seem to end by like 8pm? And in addition to tour buses 2 luxury SUVs with drivers travel with them? Local transport is usually provided by the show promoters. I've never heard of luxury SUVs traveling with. That's so weird.

Um... I think is the most random, out of the blue, where the heck did that come from moment I've ever read.

Ok, I have a tiny hang up. Ben is their manager but managers don't usually tour with bands. They hire tour managers for that and if that's what he is, he wouldn't have his own bus, much less a nicer one than the band. They're over glorified assistants for the most part. But I'm going with it anyway....
