I really enjoy how Dexter refers to being nice as 'politicking'.

His mindset is very fascinating, and the fact that he is accurately dreaming of what his copycat rival will do next is ridiculous and intriguing.

I like that the trophies he keeps are microscope slides of blood.

I'm not quite sure where I stand with this book yet.

There is some beautiful imagery and cultural influence, however there are some troubling messages threaded between the lines and some incredibly disappointing widespread romantacy tropes that are slowly but surely seeping into the story.

I am not sure how these things will progress, but I can only hope they get better.

This is fascinatingly twisted.

The whole thing is so fantastically complex and unexpected, and nothing feels like too much of a reach.

I knew that Fae girl was Rashae from her first chapter, because really, who else could it have been??
But I knew the moment the Big Bad Fae King said "Did you really think i would not come for you?" That he was her boyfriend.
Though it is nice to have confirmation.
