Talk about a slow burn.
They met in book 2 and essentially cuddled on the couch while watching a show together, MB HELD ART's hand, ART did experimental surgery on MB, they part ways on good terms and MB got ART's number. I swear they argue like a newly married couple.
ART is dead for half the book and MB is mourning while onboard it's corpse and the second it's back and both of them are able, they're arguing and calling each other unreasonable jerks.
ART: My humans are in danger.
MB: That doesnt mean you can put MY humans in danger. >:(
