Honestly, I’ve had the hardest time reading this book. The author’s writing style isn’t clicking with me. I’ve found it to be very redundant, full of fluff and focusing too much on mundane details that do nothing to drive the plot forward, failing to pull me in and engross myself in the story. I desperately wanted to like this book and support the author for her debut novel, but it’s been a challenge.
