Poor Eric. He must be grieving so hard that he is lowkey having a psychological break from reality where he keeps imagining Haru with him in these real life events. And at this thing that Kevin helped him get to. Every time Haru shows up I kinda cringe because I’m worried Eric is going to embarrass himself.

Wylan finds out his mom is alive but being held in like a mental hospital. He is determined to defeat and steal all the money from his father to get her out.

All the Grisha Nina and Matthias found in town are all members of the second army that Nina fought with before she was captured by the Fjerdans. They don’t trust or like Matthias.

Wylan is recounting how he got to the Barrel. His father lying to him and telling him that he will be escorted to a boarding school where he will be taught other skills since he can’t read. While on the boat one of Van Ecks thugs tried to kill Wylan so he would be forgotten as his father’s son.

There is no way that Haru is magically just is Chicago as Eric’s life is “falling apart”. That seems almost too good to be true. He has gone off and had daydream scenes before like Daniel’s birthday and the guy dancing with him at work. Could this be another one or is he full on hallucinating Haru being there? I’m a little concerned for Eric.

Ughhhh the little moment between Kaz and Inej of yearning for each other!! Ohhhh my heart. I love them so much that I can’t stand it!!

My sweet angle boys broke up 😭. I know they will hopefully get back together but it’s still depressing. Also the wake up call Ryan is getting by hearing Harvey died of an overdose. I feel like that’s what he needed. He was so sweet to go to the funeral. Also Ilya sitting next to him at the funeral. Is he about to ask him to join the foundation!!!! Oooo story of Ben Solo dying and becoming Kylo Ren!! Love that!! The little pre intro was a little confusing but maybe it will come into play later and make more sense.

I knew something was coming. But I feel like that’s not all because Ryan’s back is hurting more. Fabian is noticing and Ryan is hiding it from him. I feel like Ryan won’t be able to play anymore and has to quit which will make him sad. That makes me worried because I want him to still be able to survive and make money. Maybe he could coach or something?

Ryan and Fabian are together finally!!! I am so happy that Ryan is fully happy for the first time in a long time. But there is over an hour left in the book. I’m scared something is going to happen. Please don’t hurt either of my baby boys. I love them both

Not really sure what Kaz’s plan is or what the mission is. But I hope it works out well and in sure we will get an explanation soon. Also no way is Pela Rollins taking Inej from the team. I know he is like the big boss onto dregs/crows but still. She belongs with Kaz and the rest of them.

Finally Fabian and Ryan have begun to hook up and start showing how much they care for each other. They are adorable!! Also Ryan coming out to his full team to get Kent to stop making homophobic comments. Also Shane and Ilya mentioned!!! The team was watching their press conference and knowing Hollanov was together then. AHHHHHHH

Ughhh my sweet boy Ryan. You need to get out of your own head. Fabian is clearly into you and that night at his apartment was a clear sign of it. Stop thinking your existence is a problem.

I loved the scene with the kids at the community center. I think it was awesome for Ryan to realize how much his love for the game had dwindled. He needs to find it again or quit if that makes him happier.

Shane and Ilya mentioned!!! Ryan needs to chill and stop overly worrying about his existence. I love Ryan interactions with Fabian and his friends. He needs to slowly come out of his shell.

Ryan my sweet boy. I just wanna hug you and tell you everything is gonna be ok! Fabian is doing a good job distracting him from the fear of flying. I am so happy that they are hanging out more. I am also super proud of Ryan for inviting Wyatt over to help him build furniture. He needed someone to hang out with. He better not get traded this upcoming season

The crew has got Inej back while almost getting caught by the Steadfast. Ven Eck has tried to get them arrested claiming Kaz had promised to give him back his wife and son (Wylan). Even though he doesn’t care about Wylan at all.

However once Kaz and Inej escaped someone blew up a bomb. Way bigger than the ones Wylan had prepared for this mission. Who is trying to throw them off?

Jespers dad is a sweetheart and I will be so pissed if something bad happen to him. Crazy the difference between him and Waylan disgusting human of a father. Who the crew is going to rescue Inej from.

For a second they had me worried the team was gonna walk into a trap but thank god Kaz is always a bunch of steps ahead by kidnapping Van Ecks pregnant wife. Now he has the upper hand.

Ryan and Fabian ran into each other at the drug store that Fabian works at. They each get reminded of the winter that Ryan stayed at Fabian’s house for hockey. The two of them have liked each other but haven’t done anything about it.

Wylan and Jesper are going to meet up with Jespers dad. While interacting with him the proceed to get shot at. We are unsure by who but I think Wylan dad is behind it. I hope nothing happens to Jespers dad or I will be pissed. My sweet boy doesn’t need any pain like that.

Inej was trying to find her way out of her cell. Unfortunately falling into one of Van Ecks traps. Before getting tortured she managed to convince him that Kaz wouldn’t take her back if she was broken. Which in a way was true she hoped it wasn’t and he would save her anyway.

Come on Kaz, don’t leave my girl hanging and trapped. You will have trouble doing things without her. Save my girly!!!

There are way more words in this book than I was expecting. I love getting to see the behind the scenes though. Definitely will be a coffee table book when I get my own place

Jamie and Charlotte are meeting Leyna and Elizabeth in the tunnels at Sherringford. They had snuck onto the campus after hiding out at the apartment for a while. They definitely fucked…. Anyway which Charlotte is picking the lock two girls walk by them and we discovered along with Jamie and Charlotte that it’s Anna and Elizabeth.

Charlotte and Jamie have ended up at Morganvilles safe house which they were sent to by Detective Green. Apparently Milo is also there. I definitely wasn’t expecting to see him. Apparently he is a lowkey drunk now and still as insistent and annoying as ever.

Charlotte and Jamie are reunited!!! Unfortunately it’s under the circumstances that Jamie’s mom just married Lucian Moriarty. However she didn’t know he is Lucian Moriarty. She knows him as Tom. But again he is a shitty dude and tried to beat up Jamie in the bathroom of the restaurant until Charlotte barged in.

Charlotte is on the tale of Lucian Moriarty wipe also keeping a distant eye on Jamie. He is getting help from Elizabeth to see who is framing him and slowly fucking up his senior year. I don’t trust her all that much but maybe I am overthinking it.
