Not sure, like the premise but struggling with the subject so far.

Well there is some really strong racism in this book, obviously demonstrated as wrong. I’m finding it hard to read, I guess I feel guilty, I’m a white woman and there is a guilt that white people are behaving like this. I’m going to keep reading and I hope they get their comeuppance but I’m guessing it often doesn’t seem to work that way.

Note to self do not read this book whilst eating soup. Laugh out loud funny = soup everywhere! 😂🫣

I wish everyone in the NHS would read this book. I do think it’s especially helpful for those who are neurodivergent therapists or who are working with neurodivergent individuals.

I’m really enjoying the book, I like that the last “action “ scene was left to my imagination. I don’t think it being written was necessary. My mind filled in the blanks and I think it was funnier. I’m liking the development of the friendships and finding them believable.

I’m enjoying it, the creativity in the book store and the home is amazing. I loved the imagery. I’m not so sure of some of the characters but actually I can visualise them and they feel very “owl house” which is a show I love. I have read the end, a bad habit I know, and I think I’m going to enjoy how we get there. It’s a quick, easy read so far.

Really enjoying the village setting, although it feels more like a town but I do live in a tiny village. Butchers and cafe feels town like.
Trigger warning death including baby loss but both dealt with sensitively.
I’m not fussed on cats but I’m warming to the one in this book, even warming to the Priest who is absolutely adorable.

Well it’s an amazing book, I have missed some of the stories as they feel a bit too scary at the time. I know I will go back to them when it’s not night time. I think the writing is amazing and I’m still enjoying reading the notes about each story at the end. I think I want to read the other books by this author but I’m also scared to read the other books by this author!

Ok so I’ve gone through the book and after decades of reading about and thinking about a sour dough starter I have finally done it. Well I’ve started. The book is motivating and the recipes look easy. I’m not going to do my review until I’ve made something, I think will be on the weekend! I probably need some positive thoughts if my previous bread making is anything to go by!

Easy to read, very informative with information given that I may have read before but it’s in a more clinical yet understandable format so very good so far.

I think this book would be a very good read over the year, rather than in a one and done. Really loving the drawings.
