Robert Norman > Recent Status Updates

Right now, there is a lot of setting the stage for intrigue. There are a lot of characters with distinctly classic Roman names. A lot of historical figures I imagine, that would be pretty exciting to see as characters in a novel, if you are a Roman history fanatic. But since I'm more of a casual Rome fan, it's not as gripping yet. I'm waiting to see the connection with the boy's murder and the political conspiracy.

If you’re an aspiring student of history, books like this will lock you in. Written in a narrative flow of events with a pitch and pace. Very cool so far.

Not particularly exciting I’m almost done with the book and I’m not quite sure where I’m building up to.
