I feel like I was just dropped into this story without any build up or explanation on anything so I have no idea what they are talking about…

I don’t care how much I love my children, I’m ratting them out to the police if I found this hoard of priceless art and objects in their room. His mother is a moron. They are all selfish and incredibly unreasonable.

I can’t finish this

I guess I’m just not into this book. I keep wanting to say “okay but what’s the point? What are we working towards?” Because they keep hashing out the same conversation over and over again. I know what the purpose of this quest/story is but hmph, I’m struggling to enjoy it.

So far I’m indifferent, but it has nice messaging/themes that resonate with me in my current life stage. The fear of not living a fulfilling life, the urge to find something better but the worry that once you do life would no longer have a purpose.
