2nd short story: “The Dangers of Candy Canes”- 3/5 stars very original whodunnit. Man falls off his roof while decorating with xlarge sparkling candy cane figurines and the company who just redid his roof get blamed! Would’ve loved this more if the FMC wasn’t trying to be whimsy about their borderline ED..didn’t wanna hear about how guilty she felt eating xmas treats every two seconds! Stick to the murder!

1st short story: “Candy Cane Murder” -4/5 stars. Very predictable and fast paced. The recipes were fun to listen to, but ruined the pace. If I was actually reading I’m sure I’d think better. But overall, Hannah was a fun character and it was very obvious who dun it, but some parts of the crime did in fact gag me!

I’m already loving this writing and the characters ah!

Me literally sobbing at the fact that the small town finally got visitors and Clara brought so much business for the holidays 😭😭😭 and Jack got her her own crown😭😭😭😭 literally drowning in tears
