I will do anything to get out of this reading slump 😭

Also I'm feeling a bit better. Finally am getting around to reading this one and I'm halfway done with A Summer of Stars so yay for that!

YAYYY PROGRESS!! I'm feeling a little better but still crappy which sucks. On the bright side imma try to lock on.

So far so good. The characters are okay, the writing is nice. This def feels like a 2000s romcom

I've been super busy and have had multiple headaches/migraines these last couple days. But I'm feeling a little better. This book is very cute so far. But I do wish that there were the character names at the start of each POV's chapter instead of me having to guess.

Also I blew it with a cute guy yesterday because I am SO FREAKING SHY

I love how people cancel their babysitting jobs with me hours before I'm supposed to be there SO FUN (sarcasm) 😄 anywayssss I can continue the readathon like normal now. I have about ten hours left. So imma knock this one out. So far it's really good. I love how Chrysantha is kinda evil 🤭

Nevermind. She murdered him 😂

Oh...EW. I already despise her about-to-be-dead-old-man-duke husband. He told her to WHAT? Her wifely duty is THAT?! Man's a pig. Good riddance. Hope he is killed soon.

Okay it's picking up. I keep switching from the audiobook to the physical book. I don't like Corrick's narration but the rest is fine. I'm going to get a good chunk of The Darkness Within Us done tonight.

I have to stay longer at work tomorrow so I'm going to have to read more tonight and finish out the books tomorrow night.

Not sure what to think. Corrick is giving "cold but securely a softie and doesn't do romance" 🙄 Nothing much to say about Tessa. She's average. Writing is okay. The pacing is slow but not terrible. Idk

Doing a 24hr readathon since I realized I haven't done one in over a month. My picks: The Same Backward As Forward, Defy The Night, and The Darkness Within Us. I'm almost done with the Same Backward As Forward so that's exciting!!!

I have no idea how to update this because I have to flip the entire book to read his POV while still in hers? It's very confusing because it's both happening at the same time

I'm such a mood reader lol. This looks so interesting so I hope I like it better than the Inheritance Games (I didn't like those at all)

Okay sooo.... Sebastian is a psychopath. Completely and utterly insane. Also what's up with all the violence 😭 I get it but these descriptions are making me uncomfortable. Anyways I'll try to binge this today and at least get halfway done

The writing is wayyy better in this than the other Shatter Me books or even the rest of the Watch Me books. I hope that Mafi is listening to her community. So far this is very good

Okayyyy I'm starting this tonight. Will probably binge this over the next few days because it's been raining so it's perfect reading weather.

I'm nervous because I didn't like Release Me, but I liked Watch Me, so hopefully this is good!!

NOOO IT'S OVER I WANNA CRY 😭. I love this book so much it's like my favorite ever. I hope I can find my own Blake 🤞 my reread was just as good as the first time

UGH THE YEARNING PLEASE I NEED THIS IRL I WILL DO ANYTHING 😭🙏

Pls or pls lemme find love like this before I'm an adult 🤭

I'm really savoring this. I love this book so much 🥹

I'm rereading this because I can no longer resist the urge

I kinda don't like this but idk

Forgot to update this but I've been reading this book. I didn't realize there was a boy band in here. All I can imagine is Backstreet Boys and we all know how much I hate them 🤦‍♀️

Oh no

AHHHH NOOOO IT'S HAPPENING OMG I'M GONNA CRY THEY'RE FINALLY MAKING AMENDS

Not me cackling like a hyena. FORCED PROXIMITY TIME 👹

I'm going to start crying 😭
