Mine has 740 pages actually. There's too much to say about this book lowkey cause the lore is crazy. This fella has died, this other wee fella has gone missing, someone's dog is dead, someone is literally almost dead and always tired and having strange "dreams" about someone with red eyes coming into their room in the middle of the night and they have red marks on their neck crazy work. Its a fire book though

I think its almost ironic how connel and marianne can love each other so much yet struggle for years with communication. I really like marianne but I adore connel. I think that marianne and connel are sort of strange and they find comfort in each other because only they understand their strangeness. Although thats probably what's ironic about the title of the book because they are pretty normal in their abnormality.

I feel quite connel sometimes. I love them both so much and Peggy is an idiot. They have such a strange cool relationship. Very excited to finish this

This man is delusional. He hooked up with this drunk woman who just lost her husband and all her money, and now he thinks they're amazingly madly in love. The book is from two perspectives and the woman litro just wants to get rid of him and he's having like mad visions or dreams or hallucinations or something of her saying that she wants to kill her husband??? Idk I'm a bit confused
