Ashnikko’s song “Microplastics” getting stuck in my head every time I hear/read the word microplastics is making reading this book an interesting experience

I was already trying to cut down on waste in small ways before starting this book. One chapter in I decided I need to start intensely cutting back on waste and plastic. Just finished chapter 7 and I’m considering an entire lifestyle change. I’m noticing plastic everywhere. It’s like a horror movie.

Great book tho

DNF for now. I plan to return to this eventually but it’s not the vibe at the moment.

The cover says “queering consent.” I think the author and I have different definitions of consent. And they made sci-fi smut boring, which is a crime

Man. That was one of the most annoying short stories I’ve ever read. Weirdly fetishizing too. The concept had such promise but I’m just ANNOYED
