Living up to my hopes and dreams!! I’m on team Kaden again

It’s amazing, but I will admit, I wish I read this at Christmas. So far the plot seems a little more simple and rushed than the last ones, (but really, how can you compete?) and the illustrations flat out bother me. Legend is waaaaaaaaayyyy better looking in my head and doesn’t Donatella smile at least sometimes???

On another note,
You know when you’re at an amusement park and you’re not quite tall enough for the rides but if you REALLY STRETCH it works?
That’s what I’m doing with this book. I gotta make my consciousness sit up talk so Saft’s words don’t fly over my head.
It’s so sophisticated.

This is a cool book, because I’m not in love with the characters but I’m still into it. Love the vibe, I wish I was reading this in November.
