…can’t say I loved the ending quite frankly

Good so far but… I really REALLY dislike the narrator. He just sounds so pretentious.

Well that, that was certainly something. There were no twists, there were no turns, it just happened and it happened vulgarly.

I felt like the end was kind of cheap and it could’ve used more anything. It was so straightforward I feel like and nothing besides what we find out basically at the start went wrong.

I think it’s a metaphor for how men view women? I don’t know honestly what the real point of this is if it’s not that.

Everyone’s dying so quickly, I’m wondering what on earth the other part of this book is gonna be about??

Okay this book is certainly geared towards women and written with them in mind. I may be cooked we will see. It kind of sounds pretentious highkey? I don’t know what to think of it right now but I’m curious as to how this will go. If anything I think I’ll find it entertaining

It’s been going pretty slow so far, I like it though. This is one of my favorite series’s and whilst this book doesn’t feel like it has the same kick—so far—as the first I’m liking hearing the descriptions and the characters again. Also, since there is a rotting horse on the cover if something happens to Hob I’m gonna be so sad. I’m calling that something is gonna happen at church but we’ll see.

Very excited to begin reading this as I loved the first book so much. I do think I may need to reread the first one as I feel like I’ve forgotten some things but I’ll skim it later and call it good

So far it’s pretty peak. I would say it feels a little repetitive so far and I think that Ethan’s ghost(?) was probably introduced without enough foreshadowing/build up but it’s good. WAY BETTER THAN FREAKING WIDOWS’S POINT (I AM FOREEVER RAGGING ON THAT BOOK)

Okay so it’s giving Widows peak but written better so far. And like the characters have way more depth you feel me? I will admit that I want more character descriptions because it feels kinda left out but that’s just me.

So far pretty good. I will say the writing just kind of isn’t hitting for me yet but I’m not too far into it so it’s fine. I do absolutely HATE one thing about it. They call the main structure “Dominic House” instead of “The Dominic House” and it’s really pissing me off highkey. Sounds so wrong.

Y’know I don’t really delve into science fiction too much but this is REALLY freaking good man. Like I just really appreciate the depth that the author goes into for this stuff and it just makes it so satisfying hearing Mark talk through his thought process and make logical decisions
