I don’t even know what the true plot is man. I think Guy’s getting fired?? There is a weirdly high mention of orgies?? It’s a very strange book I’ll give it that

It’s just been exposition man and we’ve only gotten clear characters details for two of the characters :(

This woman… she’s suspicious. Anyways introduction actually didn’t spoil anything and the person who did it stated it at the front which was nice AND UNLIKE TOKYO EXPRESS >:( but it’s a pretty good story so far. Interesting to not include the lady who’s going to trial in the book but we’ll see

When I was reading this I was mostly thinking about my own book and jotting down scene ideas in between chapters…

I’m thinking about just skipping the introduction cause the last book spoiled the killer whilst calling it a “masterpiece to literature” which don’t get me wrong it was beautiful but like bro…. You gotta spoil this for me???

I have to say that I enjoyed Hazelthorn more, but the characters are more fleshed out in this. Lot more depth to the cast they have.

This is like a different Hazelthorn. still going feral over the fact that this author writes main characters who are strangely similar to me at least mentally. Probably a bad sign but who knows. Fire book

HOW ARE THEY ALL DEAD??? I’m barely even halfway through and all but the main character are gone…? This happened at the end of the movie so I am throughly in the dark rn

Well they swapped two characters in the movie and as it turns out my favorite scene/plot line doesn’t exist in the book. This is written very strangely chapters are like 3-4 pages max. And it pays so much less attention to the wilderness than I thought. The start was completely different than the movie and honestly I like the movie more rn. It’s going so quick I’m nervous what’s going to happen

Okay so this was the base for one of my favorite horror movies… I rewatched it and the second half fell off so much more than I remembered so I guess we’ll just have to see about this one.

What the absolute fuck. It’s so hard to decipher I feel like a missed so much. I think Wren died… maybe? He’s still alive though very confused. Uh I predicted Vanity and Ro’s whole thing like a bit before halfway in so I don’t feel surprised. Just in that weird state of that was kind of disturbing and this book has tried to be disturbing and uses that imagery so much it feels muddled.

Well Wren’s back… they’re drugging him to hell and back and I’m not sure how to feel about it. I think my problem with this book reallly stems from how difficult it is to discern a clear reason behind the characters actions. They all are really vague and it kinda feels like a Pinterest board come to life at times. And when they do have motives they aren’t explained and feel somewhat secondary at times… :(

Continuing last one because wtf man. So the only human—I think— is currently my favorite, Wren. But nobody’s motivations are explained in a way that makes sense, I don’t know what’s going on even thought half of the pages are just descriptions?? It takes brain power to transcribe this broooo
