Back to back plot twists are scary aren’t they?

So everyone knows bros secret now. Zarconars just a bit more evil than we thought. And the garlic festival is in full swing.

Gav’s got his secret revealed wow.

He’s evil but he’s not… wow. Very riveting. I admit I’m getting caught up in Hazelthorn so my mind is mostly devoted to that right not but this book is still very good.

This book scares me with its emotional accuracy.

Okay so chat it may be the butler in this mystery Sherlock thing. Uhm a lot of gay yearning. Uhh Evander’s 5’3’’ and I’m really starting to get scared with how similar his internal monologue can get to mine.

Do I see traits of myself within Evander… yes. Does that frighten me… a little. I am liking Laurie a totally normal amount for another man to like a man.

I am also loving this plot so far. The death of the lord of the manor was certainly a choice so early in. And I feel it should’ve been a bit longer of a moment. Also what do they mean that they just casually starved Evander for 3 days. Justice for my boy :(

It’s good, I would say slow paced. I like worldbuilding and following characters who give random tid bits about the world around them so Gav feels a little out of place.

The goblins are cool though. I think my favorite character is Orla right now.

Okay I’m basically done I just want a moment to go over this before I completely finish it.

Welp main character reminds me of myself in a way that makes me feel called out. Like I feel like that one meme of the guy pointing a finger at himself going, “me?”

Anyways uh attempted murder and blond men, two incredibly interesting things! how beautiful of a book I think this will be :D

Uh so cousin is actually really the only normal person here and doesn’t even want to marry her for love. Uh spoiler bro full dies. It’s actually going pretty good.

so uh the princess ain’t a princess and her not-so cousin wants to marry her???

Okay so teachers assistant is basically just a glorified free period. I literally have a free study hall/readers choice class and it looks decent on my transcript.

Anyways it’s good, still boring but good.

Is it growing on me, sure. Is there now a massive, muscular werewolf woman who speaks like a sailor and i would devote my life to, perhaps. Is it weirdly gore filled for what I expected, yes.

Well at least I’m … a quarter, no a fifth, no less than that through this book. How many people is this VERY NOT HOLY GROUP for the HOLY CHURCH going to maim?

It’s okay… I mean a little slow. I despise Alex’s character so far and find myself enjoying the wackiness of Baptiste and Balthazar. Diaz is chill, still believe we should be getting more POV’s from him though as he was marketed as the mc and I feel he’s getting overshadowed by the mix of other povs.

Okay I read a bit because the Devils is long and I got a bit bored… sue me. I’m just keeping this here to remember to read it afterwards.

It’s slow, it’s painfully slow. Minus Diaz and -the amazing, wonderful- Baptiste I would put this down right now. And someone please tell me why there’s a whole other main character that isn’t even remotely talked about in the little blurb about the book???

Can’t even lie rn I started reading a bit of Hazelthorn and I loved it so much I’m gonna power through this to read it. Wish me luck, 547 pages later
