I am all for helpful background information on characters but those 8 pages on the doctor's opinions on the medical field plus 3 more pages on his character was a bit of overkill

Did not expect to be this engrossed already but I guess humans have always been interested in watching someone ignore red flags in favor of stupidly careening towards a cliff
