Bruh having a Christian character claim that the volcano eruption was God's judgement, and that his son is being given dreams as a warning, is a choice

Oh yeah. Chills and tears. Love this book.

I was concerned this book wouldn't be as good as I remembered but I needn't have worried.

So far I'm disappointed. So far the book has not been specifically about women in the Bible. Rather, the author has just retold Bible stories but made sure to talk about the man and the woman, and not just the man (Abraham AND Sarah, Adam AND Eve).

If telling Bible stories but making sure to include the women equally with the man counts as "a book about women in the Bible", something is wrong.

This is feeling more like a crash course on soft complementarian readings of Genesis 1-3 than an analysis of Eve and God's perspective on her.

I still think Tozer has no room in his ideas for depression or the dark night of the soul, and that really bothers me. However, I did think chapters 7 and 8 were actually good and a very different feel from his earlier chapters.

Bruh I just realized this is a trilogy and not a standalone. What have I signed myself up for.

This book is an insanely good cure for anyone who is discontent with singleness. I'm honestly a bit afraid of marriage after seeing how horrid it can be 😢
