The book is definitely improving, is now faster-paced, and Vin is redeeming herself personality-wise. Some of my nagging questions about the plot and characters’ actions are being clarified and explained, so I have been able to enjoy the story for what it is much more. The action scenes are also gripping! I do wish that Sanderson had described emotions less frankly, and used more ‘show not tell’.
