everyone in this book is a DOG (except hatsumi)

midori is NOT a real person, she’s like some weird male fantasy created by the author and i feel a little sick reading the parts about her. i wish the female characters in this book had more of their own lives going on and their own dreams/thoughts instead of being built off of Toru’s (and the author’s) fantasies
