This book has such a cool premise but it’s not being well executed so far… I’m bored but have to see it to the end.

Gosh this book is so boring so far… I’m halfway through and it’s not really picking it up. But I feel like I need to finish it. If it’s trying to be a slow burn, it’s too slow of a burn.

She was afraid, but she knew now: fear usually meant you were standing on the edge of something new, something self-altering, something potentially good. Fear was not something she would shy away from ever again.

But then her smile faltered, her brows knitting together as she realized this dress might be what she was buried in if she wasn’t careful tonight. She sighed. At least it was sparkly.
