Cannot stop reading. Catching up with Perez and Willow is divine!

Racing through it!

The book is what helps me through these crazy weeks.

I can’t seem to get into the right frame of mind to enjoy this book, so I am taking a break from it for a while.

Boring. 25% into the book and so far we have one dead body, no leads, no interesting characters or witnesses. It’s all about internal police business with absolutely no appealing or quirky officers who could spice the book up. I’ll read on, driven by sheer willpower, up until 40%, hoping for improvement 🙏🏻

Unputdownable!

The set-up of the story is once again very promising and complex, but it takes very long before the policy make any headway which slows the story down.

Very light reading, quite funny at times and tedious at others. Still, the main characters are motivating me to keep reading until the end. Summer reading at its best (requires 30 degrees C) ;)

I am loving this book! I love Clare, Russ and the whole set-up. What a fantastic suggestion from Amazon that I read this book! Definitely a new series I'll be reading and following!

Even after reading 4%, I already know that this book will be so much better than the previous Nesser book I was trying to plough through.

Not as strong on the outset as the first one, but then again, DI Van Veeteren has hardly been part of the story so far.

Dit boek is zo kostbaar dat ik niet durf door te lezen uit schrik dat het plots uit zal zijn. Net zoals je traag geniet van een heerlijke fles rode wijn.

Sometimes all I need is a cuppa, a blanket and a portion of good old Agatha!

Very entertaining. Liking it so far!
