I new to me author. I avoid books with covers like that but this is kinda good so far. The MMC is a dude bro but kinda funny and endearing somehow.

It's fun. It's witty. It's alot of crass jokes.🫢😆

I just can't continue. I love the story and the writing but it just to violent for me. And also how am I only 11%!!!!!

I didnt want to read this. Nothing about a million-dollar, mean, man-hore is appealing. But 3 of my fav book reviews gave it 5 stars. So far I hate it, but end of chapter 3 was slightly amusing so maybe there's hope.

Why did I start this? Why!!! It's 706 pages!!!!!

Not going to lie but I dont remember the first book in this series and I skipped the second bc of the reviews. This one started a bit slow but man we have been escalating for at least the last 40% now. Tally kicks ass.

Ok for the first 35% I wanted to murder all the men in this book including the main love interest. Now though everything has picked up and Gage is less of a pompous ass.
