So far I am really loving my book. Jackie just moved to Colorado from New York and is starting to notice the Walter appeal. Jackie and Cole are starting to grow their friendship that I think will later turn into something more: "And then it was almost as if Cole understood what I was thinking" (Novak 111). Jackie is also starting to make friends at her new school, which I think will continue to go well for her.

Finn decided to choose Autumn. While breaking up with Sylvie, Finn and Sylvie get into a car crash and Finn dies. The narrator shifts to Jack, Finn's best friend, as he tries to deal with Finn's death. Jack describes how he is feeling, "It's like pounding my head against a wall... Finn is dead" (Nowlin 154). I think that Jack is going to continue grieving, but get mad at Alexis, Sylvie's friend, for throwing a party.

The book "If Only I Had Told Her" by Laura Nowlin so far is about Finny's view of Autumn and his relationship. After Finny read a book that Autumn wrote that hints at their relationship, Finny decides to ask her what they are. "She's taken a lot from our childhood. That's obvious" (Laura Nowlin 71). I think that since they now realize that they love each other Finny will break up with Sylvie to be with Autumn.

This book is starting to pick up. Autumn is still working through her growing feelings for Finn. When most of the friend group starts breaking up with their boyfriends, Autumn is conflicted on what to do with hers. When Sasha breaks up with Alex, Autumn says, "'I'm just surprised. And sad.' And jealous, and smug, and worried" (Nowlin 166). I think that Autumn will break up with Jamie and date Finn.

This book is great so far. It's focused on the life of Autumn, and her very different life from her neighbor and childhood best friend, Finny. Autumn struggles with wondering whether she should end up with Finny or her boyfriend, Jamie. I think Finny and Autumn will continue to develop feelings for one another later in the story. Autumn says, "I want to either be alone with Jamie or be alone with Finny" (Nowlin 69).

I really like how my book is going now. After finding out that Poppy's mom, Noelle, was Ellie's math tutor before her disappearance, Laurel starts to question how innocent Noelle was: "In the scheme of things it is far more likely that the monster in Noelle's basement was actually twenty dead hamsters, not Ellie" (Jewell 216). I think in this next part of the book, we will find out Noelle is the reason Ellie is gone.

This book is great so far. Laurel is trying to find a way to live without her daughter Ellie, who randomly vanished a few years ago. Laurel met a kind man at a coffee shop and they hit it off. One thing that threw Laurel off is how similar his daughter is to Ellie. "She doesn't say, You look just like my lost girl...instead she says, 'You remind me of someone. Sorry!'" (Jewell 79). This adds a fun twist to the plot.

So far my book is very interesting. Right off the bat it was fast paced, and mysterious, making me want to read more. There is a slight twist in the plot, hinting at the climb to the climax. I like how the book jumps from the timeline being then and now showing how it was before she was gone.
