May switch to audio book, there’s a disconnect when reading things like “rustling noises before finally finding the record” instead of just hearing it lol

is Murakami’s story in a story based on: Town of Cats – Hagiwara Sakutarō?

First two books were excellent, now on the third book. Losing momentum / interest with the more redundant detective chapters being introduced… Still gonna power through to finish and hope the pay off is worth it.

It wasn’t until the final fifteen percent that the story found its stride, a bit of a disappointing trajectory for a brief book.
