I'm getting tired of the book tbh

Boy is this a hard book to read. As I've gotten further in I've started understanding it more. I wanted a sophisticated book and I found just that, I suppose. It goes by slow for me because I have to take a moment to re-read and really understand what is happening.

Chapter 15!!!! Honestly I didn't know what I expected coming into this book and only realized a few chapters ago after reading about the author that this is written by THE John Green. Not sure how I didn't notice before while seeing the author name, but I'm a huge fan of vlogbrothers.
I expected to read just about tuberculosis, and instead I'm reading about what it is to be human and the inherit quirks of it

Page 69!!!! This is a just for fun book. Very Rick Riordan coded and in universe there exists a website called TúTube <3
Gonna read 1984 by George Orwell after this I'm just reading a fun book first

Im doing this against my better judgement btw. This is clearly MXTX goofing around and having some fun with it AND I DONT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT however so far TGCF was soooooo much better

I'm. There's been some very shocking scenes so far, and by shocking I mean gut wrenching enough that I become nauseous. I hesitate to even call these scenes child abuse when it's reached the point of full on torture. I need Papa dead on a stake and for Kambili and Jaja to go live with Auntie. I pray that's how the book ends, but I fear it won't.

It's getting good now, the action has kicked in and they're going to find the missing children, probably only their bodies. Nice anti police messages ig? I wish it had taken longer to get good. Even now it's not the best but at least what's happening fits into my area of knowledge and interest

💔💔💔 I'm so so tired but if I stay strong I can finish it today. If the teacher asks me any questions about the book I won't be able to answer them I'm pretty sure I'm cooked

Back in hell. The only chapters I enjoy reading are the ones where it's from the perspective of someone who's been kidnapped, killed, or raped. That's saying something. I can't wait to read anything else

I have mixed opinions about this, I feel like it would be more fun to read if I wasn't doing it just for school. I've also had to do a lot of research on Indian slang words because it's like a code language
