I'm. There's been some very shocking scenes so far, and by shocking I mean gut wrenching enough that I become nauseous. I hesitate to even call these scenes child abuse when it's reached the point of full on torture. I need Papa dead on a stake and for Kambili and Jaja to go live with Auntie. I pray that's how the book ends, but I fear it won't.
