i wish these books were well written, i want to read a book with these concepts, BUT THEY ARE DONE SO POORLY. guh. why.

somehow i'm not even surprised. "and they were roommates" is just another BABC. charlie is the same character noah is, they have zero differences; both are stealth, starting in a new school, very anxious, accidentally coming across a fake club they MUST join, and innately attracted to the love interest against their wishes.

both of these books are the authors OHSHC self-insert stories.

omg. it's just the same fucking book.

i do LOVE "the picture of dorian gray" so far!! i'm reading it slowly because i am reading it with my partner... we must continue... that shit is too good...

forgot to mention this in my review of "the nightmare before kissmas" but i found that cole and hex acted as two women in love rather than two men in love. and no, i don't know what that says about me and my relationship to gender stereotypes.

ugh.. my heart... i finished listening to the audiobook for "they both die at the end" while at work. time to ugly cry in the bathroom LOL
