VISUALIZE: In the book they are very descriptive about the landscape, the clans, cats, fights, and even the starry sky above. For example on page 207 it says "Thick clouds covered the sky, hiding the moon and stars, and scarcely a glint of light touched the dark water...could hear the quiet gurgle of the current and the soft paw steps of cats.." They also describe their feelings and the forest sounds of birds.

TEXT to TEXT:This book reminds me of another book called Wings Of Fire where they too have clans like the clans in Warriors. In WOF they have many problems just like the cats. I remember one being where they found their lost princess after 7 years and in Warriors they found a lost clan. Another one is where they had an imposter dragon or a dragon being mind controlled, and in Warriors they are facing an imposter cat.

CHARACTERIZATION: The author shows this trait in the main character Root'paw who is a yellowish Tom with blue eyes. He is able to feel apprehensive, sad, fearful, and have anger or hatred and think about whether he can fit in with his own clan and be "normal". He does what he thinks is best and wants to help the clans with their problem of following the rules. It reveals that he will play a huge part in the book.

ANTAGONIST: The antagonist is a spirit or a looming shadow. Though not specifically named yet, they have brought despair under the clan cats. For they have possessed one of the clan leaders after they lost one of their nine lives to a fever. Their goal is to destroy the very code that forged all 5 clans together and to make them be lost.

STATIC VS DYNAMIC: Twigpaw is a static character because in the book they find her lost clan mates of SkyClan where she goes under a conflict of whether or not she should go stay with her original clan ThunderClan or go to Skyclan. When she goes to SkyClan she feels as if she doesn't belong there. During a ceremony she decides to leave SkyClan and go back to ThunderClan where she is welcomed back.

CONFLICT: The conflict is character vs. character, this is because one of the leaders of the clans Onestar of Windclan shut off his borders after a group of rouges invaded the area and took over 2 clans. Since their leader Darktail is Onestars kit. Onestar abandoned Darktail leading for Darktail to seek revenge on his father, leading to the big conflict between the lake.

PREDICTION: I predict that the clan cats will either find a way to get rid of their problem which is the invading rogues that took over ShadowClan or that one of the others clans will fall to the rouges as well. One sentence says "So much blood-and we didn't even achieve our goal. Still the rouges hold ShadowClans territory." This can tell me that they are wounded and need to find a way to drive out the rouges.

P.O.V: The p.o.v of my book is 1st person. I know this because the book is about the main characters talking in the present and saying I, me, ect. In the book it says "I want to be a medicine cat apprentice." told by one of the main characters called Twig'Kit. This shows me that the story is 1st person.
