She has to face the ambitious cat named Thistleclaw who is devoted to becoming the next leader. But Bluefur had promised to never let that happen since he will lead the clan to war.

She wants to be the best warrior she can be for her clan and protect it with her life. Pinestar the Thunder clan leader has declared that they will attack Windclan for stealing their prey. When they attacked, Bluepaw's mother Moonflower died to her wounds caused by a Windclan warrior.
