Girl in Pieces is a realistic fiction book because the story could happen in real life. The book follows Charlie and the struggles she faces with her emotions, friendships, and family problems. There is no magic, fantasy creatures, or futuristic technology, so I know it is not fantasy or science fiction. The story feels realistic because it talks about real-life problems and emotions people can go through.

CONNECTION: I made a text-to-self connection with Hharlotte Davis because she feels lonely and like nobody really understands her. Even though my life is different, I know how it feels to be left out or judged by people. This connection made the story feel more real to me and helped me understand Harlotte’s emotions and why she struggles so much in the book so far.

SETTING:After she is out of the mental hospital she has to get on a bus. "The bus is a giant monster filled with sadness and stale air." It smells like smoke or dirt, and than at the next stop. In Kansas the bus brakes down in the middle of the night. In a town where Christmas is still happening in mid-may:faded wreaths on darkened storefronts, fat lights twinkling in the window of the gas station.

CHARACTERATION: The leading character is Harlotte Davis, she is in the mental hospital. She has 2 disorders, they are an eating disorder. she also has a mental disorder witch makes her cuts her self also know as Self Harm. "the cuts hit deep in my skin and I can still see the old cuts. Its like a dam the animal puts new wood on top of the old wood just like the cuts". all thow that is in the past it still hurts her.

SUMMERY: Harlotte Davis is in pieces. She is 17 and shes already lost more than most people do in a lifetime. Her dad is dead and I don't know what happens to her mom yet. She is in a mental hospital. She is not happy. People call her silent sue. sue is not even her name. She has to wake up at 6:00 every morning to get her pills. The pills are supposed to make her less sad but she doesn't think they work.

POINT OF VIEW:Barbie is really inspiring because she shows girls they can be anything they want. From her point of view, she isn’t just a doll, she’s like a role model. She changes jobs a lot, like being a doctor or astronaut, to show girls they have choices. I think Barbie wants girls to feel confident and believe in themselves, even when things are hard or people doubt them.

POINT OF VIEW:Barbie is really inspiring because she shows girls they can be anything they want. From her point of view, she isn’t just a doll, she’s like a role model. She changes jobs a lot, like being a doctor or astronaut, to show girls they have choices. I think Barbie wants girls to feel confident and believe in themselves, even when things are hard or people doubt them.

INCITING INCIDENT:Emma is going to Esten in NYC and Aiden does not want her to go because he loves her but he is too scared to tell her. He thinks that she just wants to be friends but she secretly likes him too. They are both to scared to confess there love so Emma leaves to go to Esten with out saying goodbye to Aiden because she thinks that its better for her and Aiden if she just leaves with out saying good bye.

Archetypes: Overcoming the monster. Aiden is the monster. He wants Emma and her boyfriend to break up because Aiden wants Emma. But Emma does not like Adien Emma just wants to be friends. Aiden is mad at Emma because emma does not like him. Aiden is planing on fiting Sam Emma boyfriend. Sam is not scared. Sam says that he is so much stronger than Aiden. But Aiden does not theink so.

SUMMARY: Emma is the main character and she left without saying goodbye to her best friend Aiden. he is furious. he knew that Emma was thinking of leaving their new England town for a boarding shcool in new York city. But Emma knows that should have not have left without saying goodbye. In one week Emma is coming to town with her new boy friend Sam to visit for the holidays. Emma is nervous about seeing Aiden.

VISUALIZE: in my book it says "she smells like she always has. A mix of her vanilla lotion and the smell of home. So I thought of the smell of vanilla and also the taste of vanilla. In my head I thought of the bath and body works vanilla body spray.

In the book mint to be the main character, likes coffee. Her favorite coffee is a ekspesow. I made a connection to this because that is my favorite coffee too. so we doth like eksprosws. Another connection is that we both love Christmas. It is both of our favorite holidays.

the characters are really unique and fun. The main character is super kind, always helping others. The other characters are funny and clever and they all bring their own special traits to the story. Together they make the book really enjoyable and heartwarming. and that is what the ather whanted to do

Emma is the main protagonist in Mint to Be. She left her small town for boarding school and didn’t say goodbye to Aiden her best friend. Coming back with her new boyfriend Sam is super awkward. Emma has to figure out her feelings and deal with mistakes.

static v dynamic: pip used to be an investigator but it got here in trouble. So she decided to not do that any more and then 2 girls went missing. So she decided to be a detective aegean. So with all the evidence that I have in my book she is Dynamic.

conflict: when someone she knows goes missing and the police wont do anything pip has no choice but to investigate. So she is on a mission Jamie Reynolds disappeared on the vary same night the town hosted memorial for the sixth year anniversary of the death of Andie Bell. She still cannot figure out who makes all these girls disappear and who is responsible for all of this. pip says that it is a great chaleng.

Predictions: my prediction is that at the end it will all be ok because all of the books i read by that other end in peace. At the beginning it was sad and the girl said that she will make it all ok and she did. So it was kind of obvious at the beginning. So that was my pedikshun.

POV: My book is 1st person because I only found out her name in like the 2 chapter because her mom said her name because she got in trouble. In the book she only said I and not her name. I only know what she looks like because she had to do a drawing and describe herself. Also in the beginning it started as 1st person in the book.

Protagonist: Her name is Lily and she has long blond hair and she is very dramatic. She just moved to Hawaii and her new home is so disgusting. There is something lurking in the shadows. My evidence is “its eyes were dark holes black as ink”pg126.

The setting is a disgusting grows slime looking swamp and lily was going to go to the swamp and she ran into a snake and she ran past trees and it was like the swamp was nonstop. it gust keped going on and on until she find a big hows. with a pool it was a lot nicer then lily's hows. it was so clean and nice with 2 kids jumping on a trampoline they looked so much happier then she was and the swamp just disaperd.

GENRE: this book is a horror book. it is a scary book. this girl is moving to Hawaii but she said she does not need to go to Hawaii. but what she doesn't know is that she does need to go because if she does not go to Hawaii she will have a better chance of getting killed. but if she goes she might not get killed but she still will have a good chance of still getting killed because you can never run from a ghost.
