Protagonist: In my book, Shadow and Bone, the protagonist of my story is Alina Starkov. She is an orphan and mapmaker in the Ravkan army who discovers she is a Sun Summoner, a rare type of Grisha capable of manipulating light to destroy the Shadow Fold. She is the central character and narrator.

SETTING: The setting of my book Shadow and Bone is in the fictional kingdom of Ravka. Ravka is war torn and divided by the Shadow Fold. Which is a terrifying strip of darkness filled by monsters. Other locations include the capital, Os Alta, and the Little Palace, where magical soldiers known as Grisha train.

In my book Twice, I predict that Alfie and Gianna will escape the cops by going back in time together or find some other way too. I also think that they will probably re-marry each other and finally have a child. My last prediction is that they will get caught and do what the police say.

Inciting Incident: The inciting incident in the book, Walking Wounded ( Vietnam, #5)was a combination of intense, relentless, and confusing irregular warfare that made soldiers feel like nothing was under control. Then it was followed by the traumatic experience of losing friends to hidden, sudden violence.

Archetypes: The archetype that best fits my book is "The Warrior" because they are driven by courage, bravery, and duty. In my book, the friends are traumatized by fear because one of their best friends died through the war. Which is leading to internal conflict and rage. They are moving forward and getting revenge for Rudy.

Summary: The main characters in this book are Morris, Rudi, Ivan and Beck. The story is about them grappling with a friend's death and its secret and is in Vietnam. Also these events take place in the combat zone and happens because of their friend, Rudi dying in action with the inciting incident being Rudi's death. The story is told in a first person perspective.

Visualize: When I start to read the book I start to visualize the Vietnam war and what's going on. I see the battlefield and the explosions, the sound of pain, and gunshots. All this occurs in the war and I was able to visualize the guy's determination and passion to bring "Rudi" home. The quote is, " I had to take Rudi home. It was my pledge, for the love of God. My pledge that brought us here."

Connections: A connection I have with this book and another is Percy Jackson because both Vietnam, walking wounded and Percy Jackson are about war. They are both fighting against an enemy and going into battle with them. They also both have multiple main characters. This reminds me of a time when me and my best friend playfully fight each other and see who wins kind of like what's going on in those books.

Characterization: The main characters, Ivan and Morris in my book are very determined to achieve their goals that they have set for themselves. They are currently in Vietnam, in the time of the Vietnam war. Ivan wants to stop the war and Morris wants to take Rudi home. Morris said that it was his pledge and Ivan said that it's up to him to stop the war.

Antagonist:The antagonist in Lu is the "Goose", Lu's dad. He was a former track member who has fallen into a drug addiction. He kept an Olympic gold medal that belonged to Lu's coach out of jealousy. In the end Lu finds out about this and makes him return the medal back to his coach.

Static character: The main character in my story, Lu, is a Static character because he is an albino and is special. He was never supposed to be born because his mom could not have kids, but he was born. He also thinks that he is chosen because of that and more. I know this because in the text it says, " I am The man. The guy. The kid. The one. The only.... My mom wasn't supposed to have kids.... One in seven thousand

CONFLICT: The conflict of this story is character vs self because he is overcoming his own insecurity and ego, grappling with a new baby sibling, and facing his father's past as a drug dealer.

Predictions: Lu, An excellent runner who is now jumping hurdles. He is a cool kid and an albino. I predict that when he is jumping hurdles something will happen and eventually he will overcome it.

POV: My current POV of this book is first person narrative because the main character says, " I, me, and my " which proves that I am reading in his perspective.

Protagonist: There are many protagonists in my story, but the main focus is on Patina. She is kind, hates losing, cares deeply about her family, speaks English, and she does track.

Setting: My story takes place at Chester Academy. Chester Academy is the main scene as well as the track where Patina and her track team practices. The current scene is Patina and her family at her house thinking about making cupcakes and eating them.

Genre: I think the genre in my book "Patina" in the track series is realistic fiction because the story is about a track team competing, training, and making memories together.
