Stephen Hsieh is on page 4 of 448 of The Two Towers (The Lord of the Rings, #2)
Summary: In my story the main character Frodo, has run away due to reasons unknown. The other characters such as aragorn and his companyto search for him. In the middle of all of this Boromir, has just been killed by orcs so Aragorn has to tend to his body. This is all I know about this book because I haven't got very far.

Visualize: A part of the story that helps me visualize is one of the descriptions of a morning. "The day came pale from the east. As the light grew it filtered through the yellow leaves of the mallorn, and it seemed to the hobbits that the early morning sun of a cool summer day was shining." This is one part of the book that really helps me visualize the scene because it is very realistic and relatable.

Stephen Hsieh
Stephen Hsieh is on page 367 of 432 of The Fellowship of the Ring (The Lord of the Rings, #1)
Text to Text: This book is similar to The Giver, this is because in both books the main character travels long distances to save the world they know. The Fellowship of the Ring states "The One must be cast into Mount Doom, that is the only way" This is how I know that the book is very adventurous just like The Giver.

Stephen Hsieh is on page 300 of 432 of The Fellowship of the Ring (The Lord of the Rings, #1)
Characters: The main character is Frodo Baggins and he is introduced at the very beginning. In the book it says "Before this journey, Frodo, you were in your hobit hole smoking without a care in the world. Now you are brave enough to take on this final task.". This shows how the author uses quotes to tell more about Frodo and his life.

Stephen Hsieh is on page 268 of 432 of The Fellowship of the Ring (The Lord of the Rings, #1)
Antagonist: The antagonist in my story is Sauron. Sauron is a dark lord who is trying to find the ring of power to use it for evil purposes. In the book it says "The Enemy has learned that the One has been found again". The enemy refers to Sauron and the One refers to the ring. Being the Enemy, this passage proves that Sauron is the antagonist>

Stephen Hsieh is on page 231 of 432 of The Fellowship of the Ring (The Lord of the Rings, #1)
Static vs Dynamic: The dynamic character is Frodo Baggins. I know this because in the story Frodo undergoes a life changing journey that will shape him into a new person. On page 221 it says that "Frodo had evolved into a different hobbit along the journey that he embarked on" This is how I know that Frodo is a dynamic character.

Conflict: In the part of the book that I am in it is the main character who is Frodo Baggins going up against the nature. In the book it says "There were armies of flies of all kinds buzzing round their ears, and the afternoon sun was burning on their backs". This shows that the main character is fighting against nature in the part of the book that I am in.

Predictions: Bilbo Baggins has just given the arkenstone to the lake men and I think that this is going to turn out in war and turmoil. I know this because in the 16th chapter Thorin gives the birds the command to go and call for reinforcements from the dwarf Dain Ironfoot. This show how I think that this action taken by Bilbo will end up in war and turmoil.

This book is third person omniscient. The narrator knows the thoughts and feelings of the characters. I know this because in the book it says "Langstrat snapped out of her trance and could feel the psychic energy in the room collapsing." This shows that we know someone's thoughts and feelings. This is why my book is third person omniscient.

Stephen Hsieh is finished with The Shadow Throne (Ascendance, #3)
Protagonist: The definition of Protagonist is the main character. The main Character of the book is a king named Jaron who has to go on a quest to save his Kingdom. I know this because the book states his name first in the story and the point of view is his and his alone. This is how I know the who the protagonist is .

Stephen Hsieh is finished with The Runaway King (Ascendance, #2)
Setting: The setting of this book is in a kingdom called Carthya and the neighboring land called Avenia. I know this because in the beginning of the book it introduces the Main character and Kingdom that he lives in. I later goes on to explain that the kingdom is threatened by Avenia. This is how I know where the setting of the book is.

Stephen Hsieh
Stephen Hsieh is finished with The False Prince (Ascendance, #1)
Genre: The genre of this book is fiction I know this because the book is based in a long time ago with a history that never actually happened. In the book there was an orphan that rose up to become a prince. None of this actually happened in real life so this is why the book is fiction.

The False Prince (Ascendance, #1)

Stephen Hsieh
Stephen Hsieh is on page 114 of 305 of The Hobbit
Genre: This book is Fantasy. I know this because in the part where I am at there is a wizard named Gandalf. In the book it says "Gandalf! Good gracious me. Not the wandering wizard". This proves that the book is fantasy because wizards are non-existent.

Protagonist:
The main characters are Marshall Hogan and Hank Busche. The part that I am in the person that is mainly focused on is Marshall Hogan. I know this because it says " The others moved on but Marshall stayed behind". This proves my point because we stay with Marshall but the others move ahead.

The setting in this story is in a small town called Ashton. This town has a small church that much of the community attends. This book doesn't tell what time frame this is but I know that this is before cell phones because not once has a cell phone been mentioned. The church is a big detail in this story and I know this because it says " it is the center of resistance" This is how I know that the church is important.

Genre: I think that this genre is scientific fiction because it has features that match the genre of scientific fiction. For example on the back of the book it says "this book brings spiritual warfare and the necessity of prayer."
This is sci-fi because it shows things such as spiritual warfare which may be imagined which is a sign of scientific fiction.

This is a summary of what has happened so far in my book. In the beginning there is a little town called Ashton. Every year there is a festival in, but this year there is a little more that is happening then just a festival. There are dark spirits around and the hosts of heaven have to band together to stop it. This is as much as I have read.
