THE QUEST: So far I think this book's ARCHETYPE is the quest. I think this because Veronica right now is homeless, her mother is sick and she doesn't have enough time to make a lot of money because she's in college. So she's living with Caleb and trying to work her way to getting a house. That's basically what the book revolves around and that's why I think it's the quest.

SUMMARY: The main characters in this book keep switching, as for some reason there is 3 books, but currently the main character in this book is Gabe. Currently it's about Gabe and his desire to see his mother. The book takes place in a community where Jonas is the leader and everybody there has escaped from a toxic village. All the events in this book take place because of the desire for seeing each other.

VISUALIZE: Claire is in the process of going the another community to find her son, but she has to cross a forest first. While she's crossing the forest she came across a bird with her nest and accidentally provoked it. "She could see its pink legs folded against the white underparts, the red spot at the tip of its razor-sharp yellow bill. The gull speared at her arm, ripped at it and wrenched loose from its hold."

Text to Self: Currently Claire, the main character is confused at what's happening. She's confused because she's lost her memories and was found at sea and she's in a new environment. The reason this reminded me of myself is because I came at the start of seventh, So it gave me less slack as a new kid. Most of the time I was very confused and lost but people helped me along the way just like they're doing for Claire.

CHARACTERIZATION: My character, Claire, feels confused and is suppressing her feelings of the discomfort that something went wrong in her birth. She tries to ask what happened and what went wrong but they give her ambiguous answers. She thinks she might get released but they quickly put that down. She feels like something went wrong and is wondering what but not getting answers.

ANTAGONIST: The ANTAGONIST of my book is probably herself so far, nothing has necessarily "damaged" her expect herself and we're getting into the book as she explains how the mental hospital is introducing the characters and stuff. The way she "damages" herself is not trying to get over her addictions and not trying to get better so far.

The main character in this book tends to be static, or so far she has been. There is this next book that is going around the rear palace which every lady is freaking out about but she's practicing her literacy right now writing characters of stuff she's interested in. dong Chong xia cao, Mantuluo-hua. Gegen. Her friend asked "do these words come up a lot?" she didn't say anything because she was writing about bugs.

CONFLICT: This story's conflict mostly resides internally. Which makes is character vs. self conflict. It's self conflict because Lakan, the main character at the moment has trouble recognizing faces, he sees everybody as go or shogi tiles, expect for his wife "Yet he could smell their sweet fragrances. And the kaleidoscope of colors that blinded him. But that was all. None of them could move Lakan's heart the same."

PREDICTIONS: Right now based on all the stuff that is happening to Maomao currently I think that Lihaku is gonna buy out Parn's contract."I want my elder sister to be happy.Her lowest price is 10 thousand currently, but I am willing to go to 5 to make her happy."Right now she is examining Lihaku's looks to see if Parn will like him and if she does then she will make the price to buy out her contract 50% off or more.

P.O.V: This story is told by 3rd person omniscient of Maomao. She is 18 years old & about to go to the jade palace, where the old concubine she used to serve is there. " It would appear consort Gyokuyou has ceased to walk the path of the moon" As of right now, she is going to the jade palace because the consort has stopped her menstruation. Meaning she may be pregnant.

PROTAGONIST :There are several protagonist in the book. The story is focusing on Lakan. Lakan is middle aged and is a noble in the rear palace. He is interested in gossip and tends to harass eunuchs. "Maomao huh, they say she has a knack for solving mysteries." Currently Lakan is trying to use Maomao to solve a case that she has nothing to do with.

SETTING: This story takes place in ancient china. Right now shes in the red light district. I know shes in the past/ancient china because there's concubines, emperors and around every 50 pages there's 1 photo showing them in clothes that are in ancient china. This evidence relates to the topic because I know they're not in korea or Japan because they wear a speific type of clothing only ancient Chinese people wear.

GENRE: i'd say thriller, romance and mystery, RIght now she got kicked out of the rear palace. Jinshi (the male lead) had bought her out of being a courtesean/selling her body. And now she's his personal assistant.

So far there is a little girl she got the main character who is a apothecary.They're in the red-light district of ancient china.They have prositution houses and there is a rich guy who promises to buy out contracts and then when he gets bored of them he just leaves them there, getting their hopes up and they usually kill themselves.Then a girl sisters poisons him because her sister killed herself cause of him.
