This is a man vs fate conflict

King Oedipus received an oracle from a seer that forewarned that he was to kill his father and marry his mother. He is afraid, as he has yet to do any of those.

I believe the primary conflict is between man and fate. I have just reached the prophecy that Oedipus receives.

Still no major events happening but in the meanwhile.


Oedipus is the man who beat the Sphinx's riddle. The Sphinx was terrorizing the city of Thebes with deadly riddles. Once the Sphinx died after being beaten by Oedipus, he was declared King of Thebes. Currently, he's dealing with plagues and the recent murder of another.
