Great story overall. However, this book is over 1,000 pages long and it shows. There are times when the story starts to pick up and then BAM, end of the chapter, next topic. And the story will go back to continue but I'm left wondering/thinking about the chapter I just finished.

Tbh, I think the issue is that I am listening to the book. Will give up the audio and maybe try the physical book.

Have been hearing a lot about this book lately. Listening on Audio.
First Stephen King book!!
Currently 10% in. So many POV's. I'm sure audio was the way to go for this book, easier to manage all the characters.

Started reading this during my lunch break and I don't think I can continue to read this book there.

Josh's grief is so immense... It's difficult for me to explain yet, Higgins has been able to describe it so beautifully painful that it feels that I too, am experiencing this grief.
