It's an amazing book so far, the fact that the time traveler is stuck in the same section instead of traveling furthur and furthur through time is exiting. I'm definitely going to finish this book for next week. I absolutely love it.

The book finally has the time traveler travel back in time as he finds little pale men with tentacles. the book indicates that those are somewhat from human evolution. The time traveler for some reason goes unnamed in the book, probably so then the reader could relate with the traveler, who like in war of the worlds, is a narrator. The book also is a retrospective like the great Gatsby, which I found weird.

The Time Machine is pretty great so far, definitely not at the level of war of the worlds but it definitely is getting up there fast.

The book so far has started to cover other books like Saving Private Ryan, and even some documentaries. I know I'm reaching the end of the book so Im going to turn it in then read JAWS for a second time (I had read it over the summer).

The book definetely is great, I am jumping around though since some types of these films are not my type. I am definetely going to watch these films, since theres some films like casablanka which I've heart great things about. Since I'm currently on the second world war film section.

I didn't exactly start at page 1, due to the fact of it being the type of book you go through to find what you want to read about. Personally I have no interest in the civil war films that were said. But there is some things that I found out, the book is filled with single paragraphed descriptions of the books and a small 2-3 sentences on the preproduction and what happened after the films release.

Its a great book so far, but personally its starting to slow down. So im probably going to ditch this book on the 3rd, since that's when I need to return it. Most likely I'm going to re-read jaws. This book has been a great book though, but I'm just getting sidetracked with the multiple other things that are being said. Kinda how the Stanley kubrick book was for me.

Hitchcock has not been exactly "Liked" by critics. In the early years of his directorial role he was blasted for success, pushing his way through into becoming the king of suspense.

Great idea, going over the films Spellbound and Notorious to show the way that Hitchcock makes his films, since not all of his films are the usual experimental. I do gotta say though, the romance explanation is killing me due to the love triangle explanation in Notorious.

The book is good so far, the last chapter I read honestly I did not like due to it being an in-depth look into Hitchcocks choices in his films about the characters, like Norman from "Phycho" for instance.

Alfred Hitchcocks blunders were due with some success, some with failure, the film Phycho and The Birds were some of his films that he did, some of the other ones that he did that weren't to success were Topaz.

Currently I'm just reading this for the sake of time since I forgot my main book at home. The stories are pretty fun, there was one with Godzilla in hell, one about humanities faults, and another about a post apocalyptic Godzilla world.

Alfred Hitchcock is one of the directors that I still need to watch a movie from, some of the films that were listed in the book so far were; Vertigo, Phycho, and The Birds, among many others.

I am currently on one of the final parts that I can read, due to the deadline of the library being on Febuary 4th. But I will try to finish it as quickly as I can. This part is going over the mechanical elements in some of Stanley Kubrick's films.

I'm getting far in this book by a long shot, and I enjoy it! The phycology behind the films "Paths of Glory" and "Full metal jacket" is explained and examined thoughourly.

The killings philisophical messaging is wrapped up, talking about stuff like the films use of backwards telling. Starting with the ending of the film then going back to the start of the film.

Talked about old films that I do enjoy, like the searchers, journey to the moon, and the great train robbery. I feel personally feel like I may not be able to finish the book in time before I need to turn it into the library, since it took me around 1 month and 10 days before I got to page 100.

Talks originally about the restoration of 3 "Lost" films, then went into detail about each one of the films. I find this book pretty fun to read.

I found out about one of Kubricks other films: "Killers kiss". Which honestly I will not watch because it sounds like a romance. But there is a lot of other things that I feel like make Kubrick a great director.

The information of this book is ABSO LUTELY amazing. The fact of people originally not understanding Kubricks films till around 5 years later as they do not understand some of the complex ideas that are illustrated in the films, like the idea of nuclear armaggedon in "Doctor Strangelove".

pretty great story. The stories being told about Kubrick are pretty fascinating to read. My personal favorite that I WANT to watch from the films said is "A clockwork orange".

This is a great book already. Finishing the biography I got a short history lesson of the blacklist in Hollywood, the second world war, and the communist wish hunt. The book is definetly one of my favorite biographies/retrospective of this director.

I finished what was essentially the prelude as I got into the biography section of the book. Seeing his life described in short words honestly pains me, since I would like to see it in greater detail. But due to the time it was hard to find the life of someone who was born in 1928. I just L O V E this book.

This book has some incredible insights and thoughtful perspectives on the famous director, that is: Stanley Kubrick. The fact that Mr. Kubrick has such a large fan base of followers, critiques, and film goes makes it an awe that all of these are literally essays and articles about Mr. Kubrick.

This book/Graphic novel is actually pretty fun. It's a collection of stories but it works. It fits the vibe that it is written by various authors and drawn by various artists. It's one of the best graphic novels that I have probably read.

This is great so far, I am almost done with this and I absolutely love the story. The subplot of the main protagonist and her siblings relationship with their dead uncle honestly feels like the author just tried to fill in some gaps in the story, kinda making it feel forced. But the book taking place I 2008 definetely makes it fit in line with the designs of Godzilla AND Gigan.
