Man, I have so many feelings I want to yell at Felicia… like, I’m empathetic but angry at her/for her… ughhh. Therapy is so necessary. Her feelings of abandonment are valid, I guess, but not truth. Then her affection for her abuser just makes me so… icky. And sad! I hope there is some resolution and redemption in this story.

Just a few pages in and crying laughing and just crying 😭 As a mother of 3 young children… SEEN…FELT.
